Three people killed in work-related deaths in Cavan this year

There have been 38 work-related deaths in 2021.

Three of these were in Cavan. There were no work related deaths reported In Monaghan.

New Health and Safety Authority figures show that's a drop of 30 per cent from 54 last year.

It's the lowest level of deaths in the workplace since records began.

The HSA's Mark Cullen says despite a welcome drop in deaths, every accident is one too many.
