Traffic delays expected ahead of Ulster Final and Monaghan truck run

Up to 30,000 supporters are expected to attend today's game at St Tiernachs Park.

Traffic delays across the Clones area are expected today as a result of the Ulster Senior Football Championship final and the Monaghan truck run.

Due to the Ulster Football Final, the annual truck run will take place at an earlier time of 12.30pm.

Gates will now open at 9.00am at the Combilift carpark with the convoy expected to take off at 12.30pm sharp. Those involved in the annual Truck Run are asked to head towards the Annahagh Roundabout, take the first exit onto the N2, turn left for Clontibret onto the Old Monaghan Road, just before Castleblayney, turn right (signed for Clones/Ballybay) towards the N2, turn right then to merge onto the N2 towards Combilift.

Meanwhile, up to 30,000 supporters are expected to attend today's game at St Tiernachs Park which will see Armagh face Derry at 4pm.

Motorists and GAA supporters are advised to follow the directions of stewards and An Garda Siochana.

While traffic delays can be expected, Gardai have confirmed that local diversions will be in place on the N54 and in the vicinity of Clones.
