Traffic disruption expected in parts of Monaghan due to Twelfth of July Aughnacloy parade

Traffic travelling from the Republic toward Aughnacloy will be diverted at Monaghan via Caledon or the Old Monaghan Road.

Traffic disruption is expected in some parts of Co Monaghan due to a Twelfth of July parade in neighbouring Aughnacloy.

Non-parade traffic is asked to avoid the general Aughnacloy Area, and diversions will be in place to divert non-parade traffic away from the parade route.

Meanwhile, traffic travelling from the Republic toward Aughnacloy will be diverted at Monaghan via Caledon or the Old Monaghan Road.

Armagh will host the largest parade in the North and diversions will be in place in Armagh City until 6pm.

Elsewhere, the Northern Ireland Fire Service attended 35 bonfire related incidents last night.

Police are also investigating reports of flags and emblems being placed on some bonfires.

Around 250 bonfires were set alight in loyalist areas last night to mark the start of the Battle of the Boyne commemorations.
