Tributes paid to man killed in Cavan workplace accident

Tributes have been paid County Meath man killed in Workplace accident.

Vincent Mooney passed away following a workplace accident on Thursday in Coolrite Bailieboro.

The 58 year old Carnaross man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Cavan Mortuary.

Mr Mooney was known to be a big Gaelic football fan.

In a statement Drumbaragh gfc, they extended their deepest condolences to his wife Helen and the Mooney and Mcloughlin Families.

Carnaross gfc said that Vincent was a past player of the club and extended their deepest condolences to the family.

A statement from the HSA said that they were aware of this fatal incident and have launched an investigation.
