Four people were injured when the light aircraft struck a beach near Carnsore Point.

Tributes have been paid to the remarkable skill of a pilot who managed to crash land a plane in Wexford yesterday.

Four people were injured when the light aircraft struck a beach near Carnsore Point at about 5pm after a mechanical failure.

Two men and two women have been taken to hospital, with the pilot suffering suspected broken legs.
