Tributes have poured in following the tragic death of a popular musician from the village of Aughnacloy close to the Monaghan border.

Barry Mohan who played an "integral part" to the success of local band 'All Folk'd Up' lost his life following a road traffic collision.

The talented guitarist is also the younger brother of lead singer Pauric Mohan.

In a heartfelt statement posted to social media, fellow band members said the late Barry Mohan will be "sadly missed" across the local music scene.

Adding that his "energy and enthusiasm" was always evident on stage.

The Monaghan group were due to tour England this weekend, however the group has announced all shows will be cancelled following the tragic passing of their esteemed member.
