A litter pick was conducted from 6am this morning to remove any remaining waste.

'Tried and tested' plans were implemented as Clones hosted another successful Ulster Final yesterday.

Close to 30,000 fans descended on the town as Derry overcame Donegal to lift the Anglo Celt Cup for the first time in 24 years.

Local Gardaí say it was a peaceful affair with only a small number public order incidents reported in the evening time.

While Monaghan County Council had staff working before, during and after the match to ensure the streets were kept clean and everything ran smoothly.
