Trocaire is hitting out at the Government for breaking an election promise to pass the Occupied Territories Bill. It's describing the coalition's failure to act as wholly unacceptable and inadequate given what's unfolded in Palestine.
It says before the election Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael made clear commitments to ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements. Trocaire CEO Caoimhe de Barra says the Government must take immediate action after Israel blocked humanitarian aid in Gaza.
