Detectives have arrested two men following the report of a kidnapping in Silverbridge on Saturday evening, February 17th.
It was reported the male victim had been bundled into a car, taken to a different location and assaulted before being released. Two men, aged 39 and 45, have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, and are currently in police custody assisting with enquiries.
The men, aged 39 and 45, were detained on a number of offences and are currently being questioned. The PSNI is keen to speak to anyone who was in the Carnally Road area at around 25 past 5 yesterday evening and anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area. The Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have any relevant dash-cam, CCTV or other video footage. The number to call is 101, quoting reference 1224 of 17/02/24.
