Two arrested for Drug Driving in Cavan

Cavan Roads Policing Unit made two arrests for Drug Driving during the course of the day yesterday.

Both drivers provided blood samples and will now face Court appearances.

While the local roads policing unit was conducting checkpoints two drivers were also detected driving without insurance and their cars were detained.

These drivers will also face prosecutions.

Cavan Gardai are highlighting these incidents to call on motorists to follow the rules of the road at all times.
