Two drunk drivers were arrested in Co Monaghan over the weekend.
In the early hours of Saturday, gardaí were on regular patrols in the county.
The first driver was observed by Gardaí in Monaghan town at around 2am.

The car was weaving over and back across the white line, almost hitting parked cars.
Meanwhile, a second motorist tried at avoid a Mandatory Intoxicant testing checkpoint at 4am in Carrickmacross.
Both drivers were over the limit and were arrested and processed.
