The two men aged in their 40s arrested in connection with this investigation have since been charged.
They are expected to appear before a special sitting of Dundalk District Court today, Thursday 7th August 2025, at approximately 5pm.
Investigations are ongoing. Gardaí have seized cannabis plants worth more than €750,000 following a search operation in Drogheda, Co. Louth on Tuesday, 5th August.

As part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs, Gardaí attached to the Dublin Crime Response Team and Drogheda searched a premises and found a large-scale cannabis cultivation factory. Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of more than €750,000 were sized.
