Two men are due to appear before court after being arrested in separate incidents by the Cavan Roads Policing Unit.
On Tuesday morning, gardaí stopped a driver on the N3 who failed a roadside drugs test and tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.
He was arrested and blood samples were taken - the driver now faces a Court appearance.

Later in the same day, at around 4pm, a vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be disqualified from driving and a bench warrant in existence for his arrest.
He was also arrested and held in custody for court.
