Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Co Monaghan.
The incident occurred this morning on the R181 Lough Egish to Castleblayney Road.
In a statement to Northern Sound, local Gardaí revealed that the road has since reopened following the single-vehicle collision.

A spokesperson from Castleblayney Garda Station also revealed that two people have been taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries which are believed to be non life-threatening at this time.
