Two vehicles have been seized in Co Cavan due to a lack of tax and insurance.
Cavan Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in the Mountnugent area on Tuesday night, when they detected a motorist driving without insurance and a vehicle that had not been taxed for two years.
Another motorist has a court date to follow after they failed a roadside fluid test and tested positive for cannabis.

Meanwhile, a number of speeding fines were issued on the N3 in Cavan this morning, as part of a Christmas road safety campaign.
Cavan Roads Policing Unit says there will be similar checks in the run-up to Christmas and have asked the public to be conscious of their speed and slow down.
