A curfew that's been in place in the capital city of Kyiv since Saturday has been lifted this morning.

The President of Ukraine says the next 24 hours will be crucial as Russian forces continue to attack parts of his country.

A curfew's been in place in the capital city of Kyiv since Saturday - anyone on the streets was considered a saboteur.

That's been lifted this morning.

Bombing has reportedly continued overnight, including in Chernihiv - about three hours north of Kyiv - where a missile's said to have hit a residential block.

Yesterday, Russia's President, Vladimir Putin, put his country's nuclear weapons on 'high alert', increasing tensions.

Officials from Ukraine and Russia are due to meet on the Belarussian border for talks.
