Uninsured learner driver detected in Monaghan

An uninsured driver was detected over the weekend by Monaghan Gardai.

The driver was not only driving with no insurance but was the holder of a learner permit and driving while unaccompanied.

The car was seized and the driver will now face a court date.

Gardaí are using this detection to warn motorists to follow all rules of the roads when taking to the region's roads.
