Night-time roadworks scheduled for Virginia Town last night and tonight have been rescheduled due to inclement weather. A Stop-Go System will now be in place on Main Street, Virginia from 7pm until 5am nightly on Monday, the 13th of March and Tuesday the 14th of March to facilitate works as part of the Virginia Pavement and Safety Scheme. Some delays are possible. According to Cavan County Council, "every effort" will be made to keep noise to a minimum and local diversions will be in place.
