Walk-in vaccination centres are set to open across the country over the Bank Holiday weekend.
While the Cabinet is due to get advice on whether vaccines can be used in 12 to 15 year olds.
The vaccine portal for 16 and 17 year olds opened this morning.

The Taoiseach confirmed the plans for the walk-in centres this morning but their location hasn't yet been released by the HSE.
