A west Cavan bar is to double as a pop-up cinema as part of a new pilot programme.
Minister Heather Humphreys launched the "Pubs as Community Hubs" in Bawnboy this morning.
It aims to reimagine rural pubs as community spaces during quiet trading times.

The Keeper's Arms in Bawnboy is part of the initial roll out, with four other pubs in Clare, Cork, Donegal and Kerry.
Minister Humphreys says the possibilities are endless.
