The R198 road at Crossdoney in Co Cavan has reopened following a road traffic collision. In a statement issued to Northern Sound, Gardaí attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision yesterday evening.
A woman aged in her 40s was taken to hospital for treatment. Traffic management was in place on the R198 Cavan to Killeshandra Road between Cavan Golf Club and the Farnham Estate as a result of the incident, however the road has since reopened to motorists according to Gardaí.
Investigations are ongoing at this time.
