Members of the Monaghan Civil Defence Auxiliary Fire Service at the time of the Monaghan Bombing were recently acknowledged for their contribution. The event was recently held in the Monaghan Civil Defence Head Quarters.
The event was attended by surviving members, relatives of deceased members, and the family and friends of past service members. Representatives of Monaghan County Council congratulated those involved, and praised the efforts and dedication made by those during the time of the Monaghan Bombing.
