The Clontibret Village Footpath scheme is currently under construction according to Monaghan County Council. The proposal includes for a 550-metre footpath, to extend the footpath from the Main Street along a local country road that serves existing residential and business premises.
According to Monaghan County Council, the delivery of these works will ensure the enhanced public safety of vulnerable road users, providing connectivity with the village nucleus and provide increased opportunity for walking and cycling.
