A British broadcaster, biologist and writer has written to a young nature lover from Cavan.
Sadie-Mae, who is six-and-a-half years old, attracted the attention of David Attenborough when she sent him a letter earlier in the summer.
In the letter, Sadie-Mae expressed her love for dinosaurs and invited him to one of her favourite places - Erica’s Fairy Forest in Cootehill.
The natural historian replied to her letter with a handwritten note, telling her that he appreciated her invitation to visit the forest but that he would not be able to do so.
