EU Parliament Agri committee to visit Cavan next month. MEP Ciaran Mullooly has welcomed the decision by the European Parliament’s Agriculture Committee to select the Midlands North-West region for its first fact-finding mission to Ireland.
Furthermore, the visit will include a tour of Lakeland Dairies, the largest milk processing facility in the region. Moreover, this will showcase the scale and innovation within Ireland’s dairy sector.
Agri committee members will also visit a family-run, two-generation dairy farm in North Cavan. Here they will see first-hand the practical challenges faced by modern farmers. To find out more Ronan Gargan has been speaking to the local MEP.
