Aontu Councillor Sarah O'Reilly has called on Cavan County Council to support the redrafting of the Work Life Balance Bill to include the words woman, female, and mother, in the clauses that relate to maternity protections.
She says these words matter to women; they help define who they are; and who they have become.
Cllr O'Reilly spoke to the wider View this week about the matter.

And she started off by explaining how the matter came to light following RTE's Live Line Show in June.
