Legacy of St Tiernach celebrated in Clones tomorrow. The legacy of St Tiernach celebrated this Friday in Clones. The Clones Community Forum are hosting a range of events to celebrate the patron saint of Clones and Bishop of Clogher. Indeed, many local places are named after St Tiernach. Furthermore, they also aim to revive a local pilgrimage walk that links Clones and Clogher via Sliabh Beagh. Moreover, the walk discovered on maps from the 1600's. Friday's event includes a torch lit procession through the town via the Diamond to St Tiernach's Sarcophagus. Additionally, it will include music from the Different Keys Choir and the Graham Memorial Pipe Band
