The ancient Fair of Muff begins today in East Cavan close to Kingscourt.
Interestingly, the fair has its origins in the remote past. Indeed, the famous horse-fair was held on the 12th of August and has continued annually since.
The “modern” Fair of Muff can trace its origins to the year 1608, One man that goes to this special event every year is Senator Joe O Reilly and Ronan Gargan has been speaking him about the popular annual fair.
