Green Party local election candidate in Castleblayney and Carrickmacross, Tate Donnelly, has called for a dog park in Castleblayney.

Tate Donnelly says that there is strong demand for such a park locally, citing the number of people using the dog park in Carrickmacross as evidence of the popularity of such an amenity.
