Furthermore, the video encourages people to know the symptoms of sepsis: slurring speech, new confusion, drowsiness, extreme shivering, muscle aches, fever, not passing urine in 12 hours, shortness of breath, blue lips, heart racing, dizziness, feeling like you're going to die and skin mottle/ discolour and a rash not blanching.

Speaking to Northern Sound, Hannah said that post sepsis care desperately needs support. Moreover, she said it was something that the two ladies would be highlighting with the health minister when they meet her next week.

Hannah joined Ronan Gargan earlier; alongside Jason McLoughlin from Shannon Gaels; who featured in the video campaign; and Mark Gilsenan, communications officer for Cavan GAA; to discuss Cavan GAA launch of sepsis awareness campaign video.
