The issue surrounding lengthy ambulance wait times raised at this months sitting of Cavan County Council.
A motion, brought by Sinn Fein Councillor Damien Brady, for the council to write to the Health Minister Stephen Donnelly about the lengthy waits in the county. Indeed, Mr Brady, a fireman, highlighted several unacceptable lengthy waits that he has witnessed across the county
He pointed to the fact that the issue centers around resources. Mr Brady praised the paramedics who work day in day out to to the highest of standards. Ronan Gargan spoke to the Ballyconnell man about the issue.
