15 students from St Aidan's Comprehensive School in Cootehill are set to travel to Lourdes to serve as youth workers with the Diocese of Kilmore.
The TY students have to raise 21k to cover the cost of the trip and so far have raised over 14k to date with two months left before they head off on the pilgrimage.
Students from the local school have been very creative to date with their fundraising efforts with a number of other events planned for the coming weeks.
A Quiz Night in Bunnoe Community Centre on Friday, 13th March at 8:00 PM is planned.
Students are also hosting a tractor run leaving from the school this Sunday March 8th.
Ronan Gargan visited the school to find out more about the students final push to get them over the line for this wonderful opportunity that has been afforded to the 15 lucky pupils of St Aidan's.
