A Co Fermanagh Chinese takeaway has claimed 'top prize' at the Northern Ireland Takeaway Awards. Located in the village of Newtownbutler close to the Fermanagh-Monaghan border, Tony and Becky He are renowned for putting their "heart and soul" into producing top quality food for customers on both sides of the border to enjoy.
A successful business is often a result of a lot more than just the quality of food, and the Lucky House takeaway in Newtownbutler is the definition of that sentiment with the local community of Newtownbutler and further afield at the heart of everything that Tony and his wife Becky do.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Becky said she is "overwhelmed" to receive the prestigious award and thanked customers, family and staff for their continued loyalty and support over the years.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Becky revealed that the family-run business has only gone from strength to strength. After opening a second takeaway in Ballygawley last year, Becky and her husband Tony are planning to take the business even further following on from their awards success.
