Further progress made towards leisure centre in Carrickmacross. Sinn Fein's Colm Carthy has "welcomed" the further progress made following a feasibility study for a leisure centre in Carrickmacross.
Cllr Carthy said that a Carrickmacross swimming pool has been a long-held aspiration for the people of South Monaghan. Indeed, it would have wide reaching benefits for the entire county.
He also says that the pop up pool which is to re open in the coming weeks has been extremely popular in the area. Ronan Gargan has been speaking to the local councillor about the issue.
