A local woman is making the trip overseas this weekend to take part in the New York marathon which will take place on St Patrick's Day.
Tara Doonan who is originally from Bawnboy, is making the journey in aid of Cuan Cancer Care in Cavan.
The work carried out by Cuan Cancer is close to the heart of Tara, who was diagnosed with breast cancer back in August 2022.
