Listen Back: Kingscourt undertaker outlines importance of 'pre-planning'

A new survey has found that ninety two percent of adults in Ireland believe every family should have the right to deliver a eulogy about their loved one at the funeral mass.

When asked how long the eulogy should be, the largest cohort, 45% said it should be of 6 to 10 minutes duration while the second largest group, 41%, said it should be under 5 minutes.

These were among the key findings of a major survey of almost 3,400 people who were asked about their views on funerals by RIP.ie. The research is one of several initiatives the website is carrying out to mark RIP.ie’s 20th anniversary.
