Listen Back: Local man through to final of RTE's 'Home of the Year'

A Glaslough man's property appeared on Tuesday night's episode of RTE's Home of the Year and is now through to the final. Viewers got to see inside Peter Carvill's gate lodge which was built in the mid 1700s and is located in Co Tyrone.

In each episode, looking for 'individuality, functionality, and clever design', the three judges - architect and founding partner of Douglas Wallace Consultants, Hugh Wallace, award-winning architect Amanda Bone and award-winning interior designer Sara Cosgrove - each score the homes out of 10.

Our reporter Jodie Curran caught up with the Co Monaghan man and began by asking him how he first got involved with the programme:
