Listen Back: Monaghan father appeals to politicians over school places. A Co Monaghan father has made a direct appeal to local politicians to reach out to the NCSE. This is over concerns that local children with special needs may be left without a school place come September.
Paddy McAloon says the conversation between parents and the NCSE has begun; but we must apply pressure to make sure that conversation continues.
Moreover, this latest push comes as children with special needs in Co Monaghan are trying to get into post primary schools, however only seven places are available.
