Public community meeting held in Carrickmacross. A follow-up public community meeting was held in Carrickmacross last night.
It comes after a similar community forum was held back in May; at which people highlighted a wide range of issues they said have been impacting the town.
Moreover, local TD Matt Carthy hosted the meeting at the Shirley Arms. He said this was a he had made when he addressed the previous event earlier in the summer.
Furthermore, the issues of migration and what is being done to address people's concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour; were raised at the last meeting. According to the local Sinn Fein TD the event last night was about taking stock from information gathered from the last meeting.
Ronan Gargan spoke to Deputy Carthy about the meeting and what next in relation to addressing concerns.
