The first public hearing of the independent statutory inquiry into the Omagh bombing took place last week.
The inquiry, ordered by Northern Ireland secretary of state, Chris Heaton-Harris, followed a legal challenge by a bereaved family.
Some 29 people, including a woman pregnant with twins, were killed. Additionally, scores of others were injured in the 1998 atrocity carried out by dissident republican group the Real IRA.
