Special sensory event planned for Blacklion tomorrow. A wonderful collaborative event "Unmasking Nature" is set to take place tomorrow evening in Blacklion.
Indeed, the free event will explore ways of engaging with the natural world.
Moreover, this sensory walking event was co-created by a community of cross-border neurodivergent collaborators; led by Kingscourt artist Alan James Burns.
Furthermore, the walking route takes inspiration from their special interests. Additionally, it is created with disabled participants in mind. Thus, Unmasking Nature asks, "What does it mean to be neurodivergent in nature?".
This free sensory walk will take place at Cavan Burren Park, Blacklion on Wednesday evening at 6pm. Alan James Burns says this is very much about a coming together of people in the region; both north and south.
Alan James spoke with Ronan Gargan about this wonderful initiative that is planned.
