Local Minister Heather Humphreys says supports will be put in place for workers that will be laid off from Lakeland Dairies in Monaghan.
The company announced last evening plans to shut three sites, with two in Monaghan and the third in Down.
It expects about 78 jobs to be impacted and has begun a consultation process with unions.
