Peaceful protest planned in Castleblayney this evening. Later this evening a peaceful protest is planned in Castleblayney.
The protest is called following concerns highlighted locally. Indeed, these concerns are in in relation to plans lodged for an IPAS center in the location. Moreover, it is currently being proposed that the Convent in the town will be used to house International Protection applicants. Mary Byrne, who is organising the event, spoke to Ronan Gargan on the Wider View earlier.
