Local calls over shortage of bottled water for the homeless. A Co Cavan homeless charity has called on people to assist with purchasing bottles of water for the homeless.
Sonya McMahon from the Kingscourt charity, Help Our Homeless, says lack of water is a serious problem at the moment. The local woman, along with her family, operates an outreach service in Dublin 365 days a year. They also feed hundreds of homeless people outside the GPO each week.
Ronan Gargan has been speaking to Soyna about the issues that the charity is facing when it comes to assisting the homeless in the capital especially with the shortage of bottled water for the homeless.
