Stephen Wright and Martin Connolly were the overall winners of the Jennings Fuels May Day Rally in Enniskillen on Bank Holiday Monday. Number 1 Seeds Cathan Mc Court and Dessie Dolan in the Skoda Fabia R5 had been the early leaders with a fastest time on Stage 1, but seen their good work undone on the next stage when they dropped down the classification and the Monaghan pairing in their Ford Fiesta R5 took the lead with a fastest time of their own and held onto for the victory after a further 4 stages. Derek Mc Garrity and Derrick Jobb took 2nd in their Volkswagon Polo R5, a little over 7 seconds behind with Martin Toner and David Wright completing the top 3 in their Ford Escort Mark 2.
