A six point win over Kildare in Tullamore this afternoon sees them through to the All-Ireland final.
Cavan were in a strong position after 14 minutes leading 1-5 to 0-1.
Kildare fought their way back into the game and took control of the second period of the opening half as they took a two point lead into the break.
Kildare led at half-time, 1-08 to 1-06. Cavan produced an impressive second half performance, limiting Kildare to just one score.
The Cavan attack proved the more efficient of the teams with total of one goal and six points in the second period booking their place in the decider where they will face Armagh.
Cavan claimed a six point victory in Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore, 2-12 to 1-9.
