Monaghan have 3 players shortlisted in this years PWC All Stars that have been announced this morning. Rory Beggan has been included among the goalkeepers alongside Rob Hennelly of Mayo and Niall Morgan of Tyrone, while Ryan Mc Anespie and Jack Mc Carron are listed in the defence and forwards respectively. All Ireland Champions Tyrone lead the way with 15 nominees with the beaten finalists Mayo having 8. Lee Keegan, Conor Meyler and Kieran Mc Geary are the 3 shortlisted for the footballer of the year, with Matthew Tierney of Galway, Oisin Mullen of Mayo and Darragh Canavan of Tyrone nominated in the young footballer of the year.
