Emyvale will look to claim a 3rd Ulster junior club title when they face Clogher tomorrow (Saturday) in the final at Shamrock Park Roslea at 1pm. Having lifted the Paul Kerr cup in 2009 and 2013 the Monaghan representatives will be looking to join Rock St Patricks as the only club to do the treble. Monaghan and Tyrone clubs have dominated this grade of the competition with 15 titles between them and Benny Lennon who is a member of the Emyvale management team is expecting a tough test
Also tomorrow (Saturday) at 2:30 in the Box-it Athletic grounds Cuchulainns will face Clonoe of Tyrone with the other semi final on Sunday seeing Carrikmacross taking on Clenullin of Derry. The Emmetts claimed their senior status in the county with a win over Killanny and followed that up by comfortably defeating Naomh Columba in the provincial quarter final. Manager Andy Callan highlighted how they have a large and committed panel of players to choose from
That game throws in at 1:15 and is part of a double header as Scotstown and Newbridge of Derry face each other in the 2nd of the senior semi finals at 3:30. Kilcoo and Erne Gaels are first up in the senior competition tomorrow evening at 4:30 in the Box-it Athletic grounds
