The roles are in both hurling and football.

A number of managerial positions have become available within Monaghan GAA. Following a management meeting on Wednesday evening it was revealed that having completed their terms there was now vacancies for the Senior and U17 hurling positions. Paul Hughes had held the role of senior manager since October of 2019 with the team remaining in Division 3A while they lost out in the quarter finals of the Lory Meagher cup with a defeat to Fermanagh who went on to win the title. The positions for the minor and U20 football roles have also become available. Mark Counihan had overseen the minors from 2019 and lead them to the title in that year before seeing the 2020 competition been delayed due to Covid 19 where they again reached the final before losing to Derry who went on to win the All Ireland title. Shortly after contesting that re-scheduled 2020 final they lost out to Donegal in the 2021 championship at the quarter final stage. Meanwhile the U20’s reached the Ulster final this year under Andy Callan, in what was a difficult and trying time as they tragically lost their captain Brendan Og Duffy in a car accident hours after defeating Donegal in the provincial semi final. Expressions of interest for the roles will close on Sunday evening the 26th of September.
