The Silencer also took is number of professional wins to 14

Aaron Mc Kenna is the new WBC youth world welterweight title holder after his victory over Carlos Gallego on Friday night in Crystal Palace. While it was an unanimous decision on the judges cards for the Silencer, the Mexican was credited for lasting the 8 rounds with the Monaghan boxer as he was comprehensively out boxed for the majority fo the contest. That victory also brought Aaron to his 14th victory as he remains unbeaten as a professional. It was a similiar story for his brother Stephen who was also fighting on the same bill as he took less that a minute and a half to dispatch of Jack Ewbank who came in as a late replacement to face the Hitman. That victory has Stephen also unbeaten as a professional with 11 wins and 10 of those via knockout.
